Scheme Information
The Disconnection of Domestic Meters by Service Layer (DEO1) Course has been designed for a qualified and EUSR Registered Service Layer to demonstrate competence in the activities relating to the safe disconnection of domestic gas meters (2.5m3 to 16.0m3) including the electrical bonding checks, applications and labelling, capping and testing the completed job.
Pre-Requisites
NCO 2 or equivalent.
Assessment Information
Assessments normally consist of a combination of practical and theory examinations. Gas Safe Register will be notified of all certification results.
Expiry Information
Certificates are valid for 5 years. Candidates are eligible to undertake re-assessment up to 6 months prior to the expiry date of the initial certificate. Previous certificates must be presented to the assessment centre as evidence.
